There's been a series of new research discoveries bubbling about the papers recently.  The first one I can't really say surprises me, that is, that women cheat on their husbands as much and men cheat on their wives.  Even the average--50% of all married couples--doesn't surprise me.

But when it came out that there's just as many female consumers of pornography as men, that one got to me.  I had really bought all that feminist hooey about men being more visual, needing more pornography.  It's just like the hooey about men being like bees hopping from flower to flower, and women being the flowers who, um, want to "envelop" or trap the bees.  In the end these ideas are merely a continuation of the fiction surrounding male and female differences.

I'd never go as far to say they aren't different.  And I'm just like anybody, trying to guess if the person waving their sleeves in the Kun Opera performance is a woman or a man.  And I could only do this with some rough, though useful generalizations, like men's necks are thicker, and shoulders wider.

So what is the difference between men and women?  Women's dirty business, they deny even having, whereas men hope to expose it a little bit, in hopes that women will appreciate their honesty.  I can only describe women as sneaky and mysterious cats, and men as clumsy and overly open dogs.
